After Brylee went to sleep a few nights ago, Craig was outside mowing the lawn and I pulled out my camera to play around with it. We have been learning a lot about shutter speeds and a technique called "panning". It's when you use a really slow shutter speed, focus in on a moving object, and follow it while you take the picture. That's what photographers do when they take pictures of race cars, people riding bikes, and things like that to make them look like they are going really fast.
Here is Craig, cutting the grass. This was taken with a normal shutter speed.
This was taken using the panning technique. It makes him look like he is going like 50mph on that lawn mower.Anyway, we had a pretty good laugh about it. It cracks me up. :)
