Our Trip
Unfortunately, our trip had to end and we had to fly back to Utah. Even though the trip was short,we got a lot accomplished and we had such a nice weekend. It's funny how, in the South, everything is much more slow-paced and it is easier to relax. On Friday, we met with a real estate agent, Joanna, who spent the entire morning showing us around the different areas and showing us different houses. After the house hunt, Craig did the "job hunt". We went and delivered his resume to a few companies and talked to a few people. Krista and Kenny came up and we all went out to eat at a BBQ restaurant called the Hunting Lodge. Craig was in heaven talking to the owners who were telling him all about the hunting in Greenville. It was a buffet and kind of reminded me of Duke's. mmmm....so good. We all went to downtown Greenville, which is beautiful, and walked through the parks. We stopped and got ice cream at a little shop and walked down to the main street, which is blocked off every Thursday and Friday night, and listened to the live bands. It was like a giant Greenville party. It reminded me of Waterfestival. On Saturday morning we went on a hike in the cliffs with my family to a waterfall. My Family drove down to Beaufort and Krista and Kenny stayed behind with us. We spent the day driving around and looking at a few more houses. We went to Lake Robinson (SUCH A PRETTY LAKE). Then we went and ate at Bone Fish Grill. It was fun to spend time with Krista and Kenny. We went to church and then back to Lake Robinson on Sunday and enjoyed the beautiful weather before we had to drive back to Atlanta. Greenville is such and awesome city and we are just hoping that everything works out with jobs, because it seems like a great place to raise our family. If not, it was a nice weekend away. Even though it was fun, we sure were glad to get home to Brylee. Three days was too long to be away from her! Here a few pictures from our trip.
